Open Profile (the avatar in the top right), then Settings, and fill in three things before your first report: • Your name — it goes on the second line of every report. • Your overseer's phone number or email address — where reports are sent. • Your annual credit cap — how many LDC and credit hours can count toward your goals in a service year. The credit cap has no default on purpose. That number varies, and the app will not guess it on your behalf. Until you enter it, LDC and credit hours are still recorded in full but do not count toward your goals.

The service year runs September 1 through August 31. Every annual total, cap, and pacing figure resets on September 1. Ministry hours are never capped. LDC and credit hours share one annual cap, and earlier months claim it first. Hours past the cap are still recorded and shown, clearly marked as not counting toward your goals. Time is stored in minutes and reported in whole hours. Leftover minutes carry into the next month by default; you can switch to dropping them in Settings. Leftover minutes reset each September unless you turn on "carry across service years." Your monthly study number is the count of different studies you conducted, not the number of sessions. Meeting someone three times in a month still counts as one study.

The Report tab shows the exact message before you send it, and defaults to the most recently completed month. You can add an optional comment line. Reports are sent from your own Messages or Mail app — the app never sends anything on its own or in the background. If your device cannot open the in-app composer, the app falls back to the Messages or Mail app and then to the share sheet. If no overseer contact is saved, the app tells you and offers to open Settings rather than failing silently. Once sent, the month is marked as submitted with a timestamp and the numbers are saved as they were. If you edit that month afterward, the app flags that your records no longer match what you sent, so you can resend if your overseer needs the correction.

Your records live only on this device, so backups matter. To export: Profile → Settings → Export a backup. You get a single file you can keep in Files or iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or email to yourself. The app also offers a backup after each report you send; you can turn that prompt off in Settings. To restore: Profile → Settings → Import a backup, choose the file, then pick Merge (keep what is here and add anything missing) or Replace everything (erase this device's records and restore only the backup). Nothing is ever deleted without an explicit confirmation. Erasing all data requires typing ERASE.

Profile → Appearance sets the theme to System, Light, or Dark, and turns the drifting background bubbles Off, Subtle, or Lively. Every screen supports Dynamic Type and VoiceOver. The background motion stops automatically when Reduce Motion is turned on in iOS Settings.
